Basic Knowledge of Low Hardness Materials
The issue was resolved by using low hardness for the packing of the respirator, foot reflexology, and taping!
Hardness refers to the value obtained by measuring the hardness or softness of materials such as rubber and sponge using a device called a durometer. There are several types of durometers that correspond to the hardness of the object being measured, with commonly used types being Type A, Type E, and Type D. Our company proposes thermoplastic elastomers and silicone RTV and Mirable as low-hardness materials. We have successful case studies of applications such as packing for respiratory devices, foot pressure point massage, and taping, all implemented with low hardness.
